Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin in the Republic of Ireland, on the 11th of November 1966. The model is as well as an Irish actor. Her debut came in the Bond film, A View to a Kill in the year 1985. In 1989 she played the archaeologist who was sympathetic to Nazis Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody played an unseen role as Archibald Craven's spouse Lilias during his film of a dream, the 1987 adaptation of The Secret Garden. Doody's first leading role came in a 1988 episode of Jim Henson fantasy series The Storyteller in the role of Sapsorrow opposite John Hurt Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders. She acted alongside Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Elsa Schneider, an Austrian Nazi sympathizer and an archaeologist from the forensic field in the 1989 movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. It also featured Sean Connery as Indy's father Doody is a co-star with three actors who have portrayed James Bond. Doody was a co-star in the year 1991 alongside Jonathan Pryce opposite the British mini-series Selling Hitler, which was in the spirit of a publication scam called the Hitler Diaries. Later, she relocated to Hollywood. The decision was made to replace Cybill Shepard in the role of L'Oreal spokeswoman and was later cast alongside Charlie Sheen as Flannery, his wife and agent as Flannery's girlfriend and agent in Major League II. Doody was off acting for more than 10 years, came back in 2003 to play a small role in her role in the British comedy The Actors in which Michael Caine was her character as a character at an award ceremony. Doody was a co-star, along with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film version of King Solomon's Mines. Doody filmed a role in the film of Danny Dyer, The Rapture. Then, she appeared on RTE's Medical thriller The Clinic. She was scheduled to also be the star of an adaptation in 2011 of the horror classic The Asphyx. However, this project fell through. In 2011 she began the first season of two in the E4 comedy drama Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. In 2014, she appeared on We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). In November 2018 she received the Almeria Tierra de Cinema Award and was awarded a Star on the Walk of Fame in Almeria.
